Order Online:
Shopping at the SPE Bookstore is simple and safe. SPE members in good standing receive a member discount on products purchased from the SPE Bookstore. You can remove items from the shopping cart or elect to purchase additional quantities for items already placed in your cart. Upon checkout, SPE members will be asked to log in to receive member discounts. When you are ready to checkout, we offer secure credit card processing for fast, worry-free payment.

Shopping tips to use when purchasing from the SPE Bookstore:

1. Browse and Search: Browse through our store categories or search for exactly the product you want. You can search by product name, title, author, publisher/manufacturer or ISBN. Enter your search term in the search box in the upper right corner and hit "find it." If you want a complete list of our categories for quick and easy browsing, click "View All Sections" on the left hand navigation bar.
2. Add to Basket: When you find a product you would like to purchase click the "add to basket" button and your product will be placed into your shopping basket. To continue shopping simply click the "Continue Shopping" link or click on any of the category links. You can remove products from your basket by clicking the "remove" link to the right of the product, and you can change product quantities by placing a new number in the "Quantity" box and clicking the button marked "Update."
3. Checkout: When you have finished your shopping proceed to the checkout by clicking the "checkout" button below your basket total. If you are on a product page, simply click the "Your Basket" icon on the right navigation bar to proceed to your basket. SPE members in good standing will need to log in to receive member discounts on purchases. SPE members should click the "SPE Member Login" button, enter your SPE member login information, and continue through the checkout process. Non-members need to click the "Non-member checkout" button to proceed through the checkout process. Final product selections can be made on the basket page prior to confirming your purchase. Click the "Checkout" button to proceed, or if you wish to cancel your entire basket, please click "Cancel" and your order will be cancelled and you will be directed back to the front page of the SPE Bookstore.
4. Enter Shipping Information: On the first checkout screen please enter the shipping information for all required fields and click "Next" at the bottom of the page. Note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes in the United States; you must provide a street address for shipping.
5. Enter Billing Information: The second screen of the checkout process will display your order total including tax, if applicable, and will prompt you for your credit card payment information. Please provide your billing address information for the credit card you are using if it is different from your shipping address. Your phone number and e-mail address are also required to complete your order. A package cannot be shipped without a corresponding phone number and e-mail address. These are used to communicate the status of each order. Remember, our checkout process is secured so your credit card data is absolutely safe.
6. Confirm Your Order: The third screen of the checkout process will ask you to verify that your order, billing and shipping information are correct. Please be sure to carefully verify this information so your order is not delayed. Once your order has been confirmed it will be placed and your credit card will be authorized (your card will not actually be charged until your order is ready to ship). You will receive a confirmation/receipt e-mail with the details of your order.
7. Receive Your Products: When your order ships, you will receive an e-mail shipment notice complete with tracking information (when available).
8. Customs/duties for non-U.S orders: Orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the country of destination. The shipping and handling fees charged for the order only cover the costs to move the order from our location to the delivery address. The customer placing the order is considered the importer of record and is responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance. SPE Bookstore cannot predict nor control these charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Create a Quote and Order Offline:
While ordering online with Rigzone is safe, secure, and easy, we understand that some of our customers may wish to order offline in order to obtain necessary approvals or make alternate payment arrangements:

1. Browse and Search: Browse through our store categories or search for exactly the product you want. You can search by product name, title, author, publisher/manufacturer or ISBN. Just enter your search term in the search box in the upper right corner and hit "find it." If you want a complete list of our categories for quick and easy browsing, click "View All Sections" in the left hand navigation bar.
2. Add to Basket: When you find a product you would like to purchase you will see a "buy" button or an "add to basket" button (on product detail pages). Click either of these buttons and your product will be placed into your shopping basket. To continue shopping simply click the "Continue Shopping" link or click on any of the category links. You can always take products out of your basket (click the "remove" link to the right of the product), and you can change product quantities by placing a new number in the "Quantity" box and clicking the button marked "Update."
3. Create A Quote: After you have added the products you wish to purchase to your basket, you can simply convert your basket to a quote by clicking the "create a quote" link from the "your basket" section in the right hand sidebar of any page or by clicking the "create a quote" button on the Basket page.
4. Enter Shipping Information: To create your quote, we will just need the address where the items will be shipped so that we can calculate shipping charges and taxes (if applicable). Note that we cannot ship to a PO Box.
5. Download, Print, or Email Your Quote: Once your quote is created, you will have options for downloading a PDF version of the quote, emailing the quote to others, and printing a copy of the quote.
6. Purchase Your Quote After you've reviewed your quote and are ready to purchase it, you can do so by clicking the "purchase now" button on the Quote page. You can then select your preferred payment method from the four available options:
   • Pay by Credit Card Online
   • Pay by Credit Card Offline
   • Pay by Check or Money Order
   • Pay by Wire Transfer (wire transfer fee applies)
   and follow the instructions for that payment method.
7. Receive Your Products: When your order ships, you will receive an e-mail shipment notice complete with tracking information (when available).
