The SPE Bookstore is using real-time shipping quotes from our vendors:
- UPS – Ground service in the US
- FedEx – Overnight service in the US
- DHL International – Air service outside the US
To see the shipping costs, add items to your cart, then select Checkout Now. After you confirm your billing and shipping addresses, you will be able to select a shipping method. You will see the weight of your shipment below the box, and the cost will be displayed.
If you want to continue shopping or remove items from your cart, select the Edit Order button in the box at right.
Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties associated with their shipment. Customs requirements and fees vary by country and SPE cannot estimate these for you. Customs clearance for shipped goods is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Oversized orders/shipping
If you are placing a large order (more than 150 pounds in the US or more than 200 pounds outside the US), you will not be able to get an immediate shipping quote.
For orders in excess of these thresholds, your only shipping option will be Custom Oversized. Be certain that your ship to address is correct. Save your order as a quote.
A customer service representative will be notified that your quote needs a shipping estimate. They will work with SPE's fulfillment staff to develop a cost for shipping and add the information to your quote. You will receive an email that your quote is available for review. You can then complete your order.
Custom shipping
If, for any reason, our integrated shippers are unable to provide a shipping quote based on your address, the only shipping option you will see is called Custom Shipping. This will force you to save your order as a quote. That will allow bookstore staff to determine the nature of the problem and add the appropriate amount for shipping, then contact you to complete your order. If you see only the Custom Shipping option, please check your shipping address for typos or other errors. Sometimes the shipping service computer is temporarily unavailable, or just unable to process certain (otherwise correct) addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience and will contact you about your order as soon as possible.
